Ethan Coghill: Your Partner in Health and Performance
Ethan Coghill's journey into the world of sports and rehabilitation began with a deep passion for football. After sustaining a significant injury, he realized the profound impact of physical health and decided to pursue a career in the medical field. This led him to study Exercise Science at Western Kentucky University (WKU).
At the age of 15, Ethan discovered Mixed Martial Arts, which ignited his love for movement and fitness. While at WKU, he worked closely with the Athletic Training staff and continued his Jiu-Jitsu training, earning both his blue and purple belts.
His curiosity about chiropractic care prompted him to pursue a Doctorate of Chiropractic at Logan University in St. Louis, where he also completed a Master’s degree in Sports Science and Rehabilitation. After graduating, he moved to Middle Tennessee to work alongside one of the leading experts in sports rehabilitation, refining his skills and knowledge. During this time, he achieved his brown belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under the guidance of Shawn Williams.
With a vision to support the martial arts community and beyond, Ethan founded Excel Sports Performance Therapy. He is dedicated to helping individuals regain control of their health and improve their performance.
Ethan's approach to care is centered around three key steps:
Deep Understanding: He takes the time to truly understand each patient’s unique situation.
Thorough Assessment: Through comprehensive testing, he identifies their current health status and specific concerns.
Personalized Plan: He develops tailored plans that address their issues and empower them to manage their health effectively.
Ethan prioritizes meaningful interactions, moving away from the quick, 10-minute visits typical in many clinics. He believes in listening to his patients and genuinely helping them on their journey to better health. As an expert in conservative musculoskeletal care specializing in sports rehabilitation, he is committed to guiding you toward optimal wellness.
When not in the clinic, Ethan enjoys spending quality time with his wife and son, training in Jiu-Jitsu, and enjoying a round of golf.
